Do Aruban citizens need a visa for Dubai?

People from Aruba usually travel on a Dutch passport, so Netherlands's UAE entry rules apply.

Aruba is on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa-free list. Aruban citizens get an entry permit stamped at the airport on arrival, with no application before travel.

How long the entry permit lets you stay depends on your nationality, so check with ICP or your airline before you fly. If you need to stay longer, you can apply for an extension inside the UAE.

Because no visa is needed for a normal visit, what Dubai Tour Visa arranges for Aruba passports is more time: if you want to stay longer than your entry permit allows, we can apply for an inside-country extension or an airport-to-airport (A2A) visa change before your permitted stay ends.

Entry rules are based on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa exemption list, checked on 21 October 2026. Rules can change, so confirm with ICP or your airline before you travel. MOFA list · ICP

Arriving in Dubai on an Aruban passport

  • Carry a passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Have your return or onward ticket and your hotel booking or host's address ready, as officers can ask.
  • Check how many days your entry permit allows and note your last day.
  • If you plan to stay longer, apply for an extension before that day to avoid overstay fines.

Staying longer than your entry permit

You can extend before your entry permit runs out — from inside the UAE, or with a same-day airport-to-airport (A2A) change. We offer the 30 Days Inside Visa Extension (USD 330, Same day), 60 Days Inside A2A Visa Extension (USD 500, Same day) and 30 Days Inside A2A Visa Extension (USD 470, Same day).

Paying from Aruba

All our prices are in US dollars (USD). If your card is in AWG, your bank converts the amount and may add a foreign transaction fee, so the final charge in AWG depends on your bank's rate.

Contacting us from Oranjestad

Dubai is 8 hours ahead of Oranjestad.

Our Dubai office is open 10am to 10pm, seven days a week — that is 2am to 2pm in Oranjestad. Messages sent outside those hours are answered when we open.

How to apply for an extension

  1. Make sure you are still within your permitted stay — extensions must be applied for before it ends.
  2. Pick the extension that suits you from the options on this page and press “Apply Dubai Visa”.
  3. Upload your passport scan, photo and current visa or entry stamp.
  4. Pay online; we submit the extension and keep you updated until it is approved.

A visa approval does not guarantee entry: the final decision is made by UAE immigration on arrival. Fees, processing times and entry rules can change — the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.
